Ted Chastain writes for both stage and screen, primarily thrillers with a side of social commentary. His play PRAVDA was a Semifinalist for the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.  His feature script MURDER MOST VIRTUAL was ranked in the top 1% on Coverfly and was included on seven different Coverfly Red Lists, including Top Rated Thriller Projects All-Time and Top Rated Thriller Feature Projects All-time.  His play THROWING BIRDS AT TIPPI HEDREN was a Finalist in the 2023 Austin Film Festival script competition and was given a live reading as part of that year’s AFF.  That script was also ranked in the top 1% on Coverfly and was included on six different Coverfly Red Lists, including placing #1 on their list of Top Rated Stage Play Projects All-Time.  Another of his plays, PREPOSSESSING, was a semi-finalist for the National Arts Club Playwrights First Award.  He still can’t believe they tore down Yankee Stadium.
